A kaleidoscope of tastes & cultures in London Fields ‘Broadway Market’

Fred Cooke started selling jellied eels on Broadway Market in 1900. His restaurant served shepherd’s driving their flocks to the city of London and now the hip saturday market in the place to go for a mix of wonderful food, books, flowers by the trendy florists REBEL REBEL who along with Clare’s new shop (I found it so hard to drag myself away) in West Hampstead called ‘Achillea’ are two of the most beautiful flower shops in London.

The market is open all day long on Saturday and is nestled into a little East End Street next to the Regents Canal & London Fields.

Take yourself and a little basket to this market the next time you need a real lift, and the new Red Market in Old Street on Friday nights is another ‘Must Do’ on my never ending list of up and coming street food adventures in and around the city.
